How did the idea come about?
Early autumn 2017:
After a surf session, I looked for an efficient way to store my board. That's when the idea came to me to create storage systems for our surfing, kitesurfing, etc. equipment. The project was therefore to manufacture practical, aesthetically pleasing, and adaptable storage units, called "Racks," for all board sports practiced worldwide, so that everyone could use them.
The design:
I spent a lot of time thinking about rack design, making various prototypes... in cardboard , plastic , aluminum Then I found the best way to design my first rack, which is made of wood. So I was able to carry out our first tests.
I have surrounded myself with the best in the wood , cork , and rope industry in order to implement all my projects.
It took me more than two years to offer you quality products that are environmentally friendly , handcrafted , designed & made in France!
What is the concept behind Rack ta Board?
To begin this adventure, I set myself some guiding principles. simple, practical, fun, easy to assemble and disassemble, move and store, modular and innovative.
The concept of Rack Ta Board is therefore to provide an efficient storage solution.
I make racks for storing board sports equipment, from surfing to kitesurfing and skateboarding. But my products aren't necessarily limited to the world of board sports.
I also offer all types of varied products from different categories.

Yes, you can well imagine that I'm going to talk to you about Made in France!
As you can understand, from the very beginning of the project, "Made in France" was a key consideration for me. The idea was simple: to design products and also to manufacture them in France so that my project would have meaning.
I have chosen to work with trusted local companies that can guarantee me high-quality, noble materials while also guaranteeing their origin.
I was determined that my products should be French, despite the significant costs, in order to reduce the environmental impact by limiting transport with high-quality and eco-responsible products.

What materials do I use?
I'll explain very briefly:

BIRCH WOOD
Our products are made from birch plywood sourced from sustainably managed European forests (FSC & PEFC certified). The wood is processed locally to minimize environmental impact.
CORK
Cork is our second most used material. It is harvested and processed in the Landes region of France by a family-run company. We apply a double-sided film to ensure it adheres to our products. It protects your boards and is 100% natural.
THE ATTACHMENTS
The fasteners we use for Rack Ta Board products are optional, made from recycled and recyclable plastic. These ropes and hooks are manufactured to order in France to minimize environmental impact.

It was a natural choice when we created our first products.

Rack ta Board's ambitions, with a capital A, because I see big things:
The goal is to expand and diversify product categories and ranges while always respecting my concept, creating a versatile, removable and super functional product!
I want to incorporate the world of cycling into my catalog so I can offer you all types of racks dedicated to the world of board sports! I already offer a full range of surf, skate, ski, snowboard, foil, paddle, and kite gear…
My goal is to advise and guide more and more stores that want to equip themselves with Rack Ta Board racks, to have a customer experience unique to each one and to develop more and more demand for personalization.
