The Materials used for the Vertical 3 to 6 Plank Wall Rack Large :
The Birch Wood
We use birch wood in the form of plywood. With a thickness of 15mm for 11 cross folds, it guarantees maximum rigidity and durability. Produced from sustainable European forestry (1 tree cut, 2 trees replanted), it is FSC & PEFC* certified and can be used outdoors as it is CTBX outdoor** certified. The glue used for the plywood consists of biological lignin*** from tree resin. Therefore, it is a solvent-free and chemical-free plywood. An aesthetic, dark brown/black, durable and recyclable protective film covers and protects the product.
Cork
100% natural material. A family business in the Landes region collects and processes this French cork. We apply a double-sided adhesive to it to ensure it stays on our products.
Fasteners
Made from recycled and recyclable plastic. These ropes (bungee cords) and hooks are made to order in France. This way we limit the environmental impact. Our fasteners are therefore made up of bungee cords, hooks and black end caps. To ensure maximum support for your boards on our racks.
The carton pack
100% recycled and recyclable cardboard packaging. Made in France in the Pays de la Loire region and from certified companies. We try to use as much recycled packaging as possible to limit our environmental footprint. Used to transport our products throughout France and Europe.
Rack ta Board has a policy of transparency with the riders so you.
*PEFC and FSC certifications: Standards for sustainably managed forests. http://www.france-certification.com
**CTB-X EXTERNAL plywood: meets or exceeds specifications for outdoor use. Defined in the NF EN 636-3 standard.
***Biobased lignin is a recyclable and environmentally friendly product available worldwide in certain trees. Indeed, all woods contain 20-30% lignin. The use of this biomolecule makes it possible to replace traditional phenol of fossil origin. User tests show that this bonding technology maintains all the properties of the old adhesives. This new adhesive allows for a greener environment and a more environmentally friendly product.
